CrossFireX Beta was unveiled on 16th June 2020 with information released in the Microsoft Store and officially social media pages were set up for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Discord. A official website was also set up and unveiled to the public. The information which was presented lead to a release date for the 25th June 2020.
Closed Beta[]
With surprise, a closed beta started on the 22nd June 2020 with no prior announcement on the Xbox One. Big gaming sites such as IGN released their reviews to the public and it seems like some reviewers were given the opportunity to play the game beforehand so they time to release their reviews when beta started. The Closed Beta only lasted for 2 days before ending thus the Closed Beta ended on the 23rd June 2020 at midnight. The following content was released during the Closed Beta.
Open Beta[]
Open Beta started on the 25th June 2020 with minor bug fixes applied as stated on the official CrossFireX website. However, there is no change log which highlights what bugs were fixed or was there any additional content added. The Open Beta ended on the 28th June 2020.
